We all know Kate Middleton has got some expensive taste but the royal certainly has style when it comes to picking out gorgeous jewelry.
Apparently Prince George's mom chose several pieces by New Zealand accessory line Tory & Ko to rock during her tour of the country.
According to E! News, the brand's designers, Victoria Taylor and Kirstin O'Brien, were asked to supply Catherine the Duchess of Cambridge with four pieces of jewelry she fancied after contacting Buckingham Palace through email.
O'Brien explained, "We followed up with the palace and they came back to us straight away saying, 'We love your jewelry and we would love to select some pieces from your website.' So they selected some specific pieces and we then sent them off."
She went on to say, "They haven't been paid for-we've just send them in the hope that the Duchess of Cambridge will wear them on her tour here in New Zealand."
Since revealing that Prince William's wife was interested in their jewelry line, Tory & Ko has been hit with the Kate Effect and have been especially busy after being bombarded with requests.
Out of the pieces sent her way Middleton became fond of four in particular. The items consisted of a cultured pearl and diamond necklace in 18 ct. white gold and matching earrings from the Bespoke Collection, a pair of blue topaz, gold and silver bow earrings and a pair of similar citrine bow earrings from the Pretty Collection.
The Pretty Collection earrings ring up to about $600 each, meanwhile the Bespoke pieces are "price on request." Taylor revealed, "They were very specific about what they wanted us to send."
She continued, "We had originally suggested in our introduction email that we were bespoke jewelers in New Zealand, we would be honored for her to even consider wearing any of our jewelry and gave a few options of selections that we felt might be fitting."
She added, "However, they came back and she had selected quite different pieces-which are all beautiful."
