Following the tragic death of movie star Paul Walker his costar decided to reveal the release date for his final film three weeks after the shocking car accident that claimed his life.
According to Us Weekly, Vin Diesel took to Facebook to reveal that the "Fast and Furious 7" movie will hit theaters April 10, 2015. The actor also shared a photo of him and his late friend on-set as their characters in their final scene together.
Attached to the photo of Paul Walker and Vin Diesel the action star wrote, "The last scene we filmed together...
"There was a unique sense of completion, of pride we shared... in the film we were now completing... the magic captured... and, in just how far we've come...
"Fast and Furious 7 will be released...April 10th 2015!"
He added, "P.s. He'd want you to know first..."
Walker and his costars were in the midst of filming the latest installment of the action franchise when the production took a break for the Thanksgiving holiday.
During that time the actor attended a charity event in which he and friend Roger Rodas were killed in a fiery car crash on November 30th in Santa Clarita, California.
The "Fast and Furious 7" was originally slated for a July 11, 2014 premiere date but was put on an indefinite hold earlier this month as cast, crew and fans mourned Walker's untimely death.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Walker will indeed appear in the latest sequel of the film using footage shot before he died in the car accident however, no other details have become available.
