Case-Mate, the international design company that makes fashionable accessories for mobile technology and tablets, has announced the live streaming of its fashion event and concert at the New York Fashion Week through a press release.
Talking about the occasion, Vincent Young , vice president of worldwide marketing of Case-Mate, said, “We are thrilled to be able to bring the excitement of New York Fashion Week to mobile device owners around the world. ‘ShowCase 2013’ is sure to be one of the most entertaining events of the week and we are certain that our online viewers, as well as those planning to attend in person, will have an amazing, unforgettable experience.”
Founded in December 2005, Case-Mate has a collection of trendy and sporty gadget accessories. It carries a range of cases for the iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, smartphones, tablets and other accessories like chargers and sports armbands. Featuring designs by Jessica Swift, Cinda B, Clairebella, Sebastian Murra and Tad Carpenter, these cases are funky and will match all occasions, whether it is a formal meeting you have to attend or a dress you want to match it with. Collections are called “Sweets Shop”, “Luxe”, “Summer Bright”, “Professional”, “Pop!” etc. The cases are cheerful-looking and come in bright colors, glitter, prints and color blocks.
In an endeavor to save the environment, Case-Mate also has an eco-friendly collection of cases called the r-Pet, “Barely There”. These slim cases are made from the plastic in PET bottles. One case equals one PET bottle.
The fashion event, titled “ShowCase 2013”, will also feature the Spring 2013 fashion clothing line from Czar, the collection by Cesar Galindo of Bravo's "The Fashion Show."
The event will see Fergie and Common as co-hosts; former MTV personality and current host of ABC's “Duets”, Quddus, as the fashion show emcee and Mia Moretti will be the event’s disc jockey.
The live streaming of events will start Sept. 12
