Come September and the Latin Fashion Week will be seen at New York’s Fashion Week to present “Ola”, according to a press release. Literally meaning “Hello” or “Welcome”, Ola is a fashion, beauty, music and art event that intends to showcase the talent of Latin and multicultural designers.

Ola, an extension of the Latin Fashion Week, promotes diversity as well as unity among different cultures through fashion and art. It encourages budding designers to showcase their works, while also giving them an opportunity to meet industry experts.

Ola features designs by Adolfo Sanchez, who started his line in 2006 after having worked with Carolina Herrera, Versace and Gucci. Designs by K James Couture, a specialty heel line by Kate Ferguson, will also be featured. Ferguson has designed for celebs like Katy Perry and Rihanna.

The events also feature Maurizio Alberino, who designs suits, shirts and accessories for men. His line boasts of a complete range, from sportswear to formals, all made in Italy. Another brand that will be seen is Xcluzv Lifestyle Brands Inc., which is well-known for women’s swimwear and fitness wear.

The event will showcase both men’s and women’s fashion. General admission tickets are available at $50, front row VIP tickets at $75 and celebrity style VIP ticket at $1500.Ola will be held Sept. 15 from 6-10 p.m. at Solo Event Space, New York. The Latin Fashion Week is scheduled from Oct. 5-7.
