With the controversy surrounding her Nickelodeon costar Jennette McCurdy following her semi-nude photo scandal, Ariana Grande stirred up a little trouble by sharing a photo of herself posing with a gun on Instagram.

According to Entertainment Wise, the "Problem" singer previously revealed to her fans that she was filming the second video from her upcoming album, which the celebrity gossip site hinted may be the cause for the questionable picture on the pop princess' account.

The snapshot features Ariana Grande wearing a shiny strapless top that looks somewhat futuristic as she gives the camera a glimpse at her toned legs while holding what could pass as a space gun.

The picture of a weapon is usually frowned upon when posted by celebrities however, Ariana Grande's fans didn't seem to mind the gun, maybe because it was not as realistic as a real semi-automatic weapon.

However, something that does bother fans is whether or not Ariana Grande and her "Sam and Cat" costar Jennette McCurdy are feuding.

The blonde beauty recently wrote an "article" lashing out at a former pal officially denouncing their friendship.

Things became heated between the two Nickelodeon stars after McCurdy's sexy photos were leaked to the internet and then rumors began to swirl that their hit series may be cancelled because she wasn't making as much money as "The Way" singer.

In her TwitLonger post, Jennette McCurdy wrote a long and detailed post about a friend which she titled, "Letting Go of Someone."

She also talked about the post on her Twitter page, sharing it with her more than 5 million followers.

She wrote, "This article is about knowing when to let go of a bad 'friendship.'"

The 21-year-old explained, "There seem to be a lot of articles floating around the web right now that provide tips for ditching this ambiguous 'trouble friend', so I wanted to provide my take on the matter, with a very personal example."
