Côte Launches New Five-Free Nail Polish Line

Luxe and lavishly good for your nails too!

côte has launched a special line of "five-free" polish blends. All shades are made in the United States, cruelty-free, vegan, FDA approved and free of the five major toxins associated with nail polishes: formaldehyde, dibutyl phthalate (DBP), toluene, camphor and formaldehyde resin.

Founders of the brand point out that other polish brands are currently offering "three-free" formulas, which are free of only three of the five major toxins.

"We created côte to offer a luxurious and safer nail care experience for our consumers, staff, friends and family alike," said Mary Lennon, co-founder of côte.

"Leah and I began this adventure by chatting about all things we didn't like in the nail world, and then we set out to remove the negative aspects from the entire nail experience- from the environment, to the service, to the employees, to the actual products themselves."

If you're in the Cali area, you definitely wanna check out this chic new space! Magazines are replaced with fully loaded iPads, pre-service payment options that assist with preserving the perfect manicure post-service, and there's a California beach interior design with a hint of Southern France.

côte developed a polish collection consisting of 109 hand-poured colors! There are four effective treatment products, one suited for each individuals nail needs: protective base and top coat, strengthening base and top coat, a matte top coat and a smoothing base coat.

The extensive line offers an assortment of polishes in cool and warm tones, neutrals, brights, jewel tones, metallics, glitters, shimmers and pearls. With a variety of hues and textures, côte ensures a complementary color for any mood and skin tone. Polishes are numbered rather than named, with "No. 1" being côte's signature coral blend.

Each shade is priced at $16. Shop the collection here and let us know what you think!
