It looks like Lamar Odom can't catch a break. The basketball player was denied entry to Penthouse Nightclub on Tuesday night in Los Angeles.

According to E! News, the incident happened right as her Khloe Kardashian and her entourage arrived at the hot spot.

An eyewitness revealed, "It was Khloeé, French, Kim [Kardashian] and Jonathan Cheban. Kim and Jonathan exited the car and were filming a scene for the show while Khloé and French were in the car talking.

"Just then, Lamar walks past the car and heads around to the front of the club to go in," adding, "Lamar was rejected at the door and was forced to leave."

The insider went on to reveal, "He was later seen walking by Khloé and French as they sat inside her Range Rover."

Apparently the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" season 9 star had no idea that her ex-husband would be at the club that night.

The source revealed, "Khloé looked shocked. It did not look like she was expecting him at all. No one could believe he was there."

The insider added that "the doorway to the club was surrounded by French's security, who made it clear to Lamar he would not be allowed in. As he was leaving, he walked again past the car that French and Khloé were in and made his way off the property."

After everything was settled Kendall and Kylie Jenner's older sisters made their way inside.

The source explained, "After that, Khloé and her group went inside. Kim and Jonathan stayed for about an hour before leaving, but Khloé remained with French."

Adding, "it seemed obvious Lamar was there looking for Khloé. This was not a random coincidence. He seemed desperate."

However, despite reports that the reality star's boyfriend, French Montana had the club owner deny Lamar Odom entry, TMZ reported that it was the business' decision to restrict access to the NBA player to avoid a Chris Brown and Drake like fight.

On Wednesday morning Khloe Kardashian took to Twitter and tweeted, "Still hurts... Maybe it always will."
