It seems time has passed very quickly as Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge and Prince William will be celebrating their third wedding anniversary on April 29th.

According to Hollywood Life, prior to their tour of New Zealand and Australia the Duke of Cambridge gave his wife a luxurious Cartier watch that featured an embedded sapphire.

Prince George's dad presented his mom, Kate Middleton with the $5,950.00 Ballon Bleu de Cartier watch just days before their long trip, her newest accessory conveniently meshed very well with her engagement ring.

Many know that the ring and it's sapphire stone has a very special meaning to William, seeing as it belonged to his late mother, Princess Diana.

In an effort to show her husband just how much his anniversary gift meant to her Middleton made sure to wear the watch every single day during their tour.

The royal family is known for being fashion forward which they proved since the first day they stepped off the plane when they arrived in Australia.

Kate Middleton looked chic wearing a red coat with gold buttons made by British designer Catherine Walker who coincidentally was a fashion go-to for Diana, Princess of Wales.

The brunette paired her outerwear with a red pillbox hat by Gina Foster and a silver fern-shaped brooch which was a symbol of New Zealand.

The royal fashionista borrowed the diamond and platinum brooch from the Queen, who was given the sparkler gift during a visit to Auckland 60 years ago.

Meanwhile, Prince George looked dashing in his cute cream cardigan and matching shoes.
