Typically when the "Keeping Up with the Kardashian" clan goes on vacation they make a big deal about all of family members attending the fun getaway however, noticeably absent from the trip was the oldest sibling Kourtney Kardashian.

According to E! News, Kourtney Kardashian and boyfriend Scott Disick skipped out on the big family vacation to Thailand because of their children.

Apparently the couple's kids, son Mason and daughter Penelope, came down with a cold and were too sick to fly to a different part of the world.

Instead of jet setting overseas, the Kardashian Kollection designer, Disick and their kids opted to lay low at their home in Los Angeles.

Meanwhile the rest of their famous family which included Kim Kardashian, Khloé Kardashian, Kris Jenner, Bruce Jenner, Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner enjoyed the beautiful sights that Thailand had to offer.

However, we doubt that Kourtney and Scott are dwelling on missing a vacation seeing as the two recently enjoyed a mini-getaway to Santa Barbara together while their family was away.

Rob Kardashian also skipped out on the vacation, the youngest Kardashian sibling has been struggling with weight loss for sometime and recently tweeted a cryptic message.

During their Thailand adventure the group enjoyed zip-lining, posing with elephants and plenty of fun in the sun at the beach.

They also stopped by an orphanage in Phuket before returning to Los Angeles on Wednesday. As the famous family made their way through the airport Kris and Bruce were photographed holding hands.

However, a source revealed that they were simply holding hands as "friends."
