It looks like Jennette McCurdy's racy photo scandal following her split with NBA player Andre Drummond has Nickelodeon on the brink of canceling her show "Sam & Cat."
According to Hollywood Life, a new report from the New York Daily News, Nickelodeon is threatening to cancel the hit series.
A source revealed, "The future of Sam & Cat is hanging by a silky thread after sultry selfies shot by one of the show's thong-clad stars, Jennette McCurdy, were leaked online last month."
Apparently production on the kid friendly sitcom has been halted and the show has yet to be renewed for a second season despite its success on the network.
McCurdy took to Twitter over the weekend to bash the network after she skipped the Kids' Choice Awards.
She tweeted, "My previous tweet has nothing to do with pics leaked," adding, "It has to do with how Nickelodeon treated me. That's all. Thanks for the love."
Despite her X-rated selfies, TMZ reporting that her issues with Nickelodeon are more so about the money.
A site revealed, "Jennette McCurdy's beef with Nickelodeon is strictly about the almighty dollar and how she makes less than her Sam & Cat co-star Ariana Grande."
The report continued, "McCurdy's dissatisfaction is rooted in her paycheck." Apparently "the pint-sized star is pissed that Grande makes way more money than her and she's been trying to renegotiate her deal."
The site also added, that despite feud rumors Jennette McCurdy has no problem with Ariana Grande and is simply upset with the network.
