It looks like the "Annie" trailer is finally here! The classic red dress is back with a modern day twist and headed to theaters on Christmas Day.
According to E! News, in this updated version of the classic Broadway musical-turned-classic movie musical, Jamie Foxx stars as billionaire Benjamin Stacks who gets to know and eventually love little orphan Annie played by 10-year-old Quvenzhané Wallis.
Annie resides in a Harlem orphanage run by Cameron Diaz's jaded, domineering, yet comically snarky Miss Hannigan.
However, the young child's life is about to change after she runs into Mr. Stacks who is the modern day Daddy Warbucks.
Foxx plays a wealthy politician who decides that being seen with a Harlem foster kid will be good for his image and further his mayoral campaign and seeing as life at the orphanage isn't that fun, Annie is more than happy to help.
She even goes as far as to offer him help to get all the way to the White House. Wallis' character explains, "I bet if I moved in with you, you'd become president."
Slowly but surely little Annie manages to make her way into Benjamin Stacks' heart but her storye will not be without adventure and conflict.
