Although she has been in the public eye for years, Kristen Stewart's personal love life made it to the front page of magazines everywhere in July 2012.
It was then when the starlet's affair with her "Snow White and the Huntsman" director Rupert Sanders became public knowledge and the photos of the two were plastered along multiple magazine covers.
Following a public apology not only did she finally confirm her romance with "Twilight" costar Robert Pattinson but she also begged for her boyfriend's forgiveness in front of the world.
Now that they officially split in Spring 2013, the starlet is finally coming to grips with reality and owning up to her mistakes.
According to Us Weekly, in a new interview with the March 2014 issue of Marie Claire the 23-year-old seems confident and unapologetic about her past decisions. She explained, "I stand by every mistake I've ever made, so judge away."
Even though she lost the man that she loved the "On the Road" star still thinks about the possibility of romance.
She said, "You don't know who you will fall in love with. You just don't. You don't control it," adding, "Some people have certain things, like, 'That's what I'm going for,' and I have a subjective version of that.
"I don't pressure myself...If you fall in love with someone, you want to own them -- but really, why would you want that? You want them to be what you love. I'm much too young to even have an answer for that question."
Despite her ups and downs "The Runaways" star admitted that she had no idea how successful "The Twilight Saga" would be.
Kristen Stewart explained, "Dude, I have no idea what I'm doing, and that's kind of how I love it," adding, "I had no idea Twilight was going to be huge. Certain movies I've done I thought were going to be amazing did nothing.
"So it's fun not having so much control. It's kind of a fly-by-the-seat-of-your-pants lifestyle - it's fun, but it's scary as f**k. Unless you get that irking fear, it's not right."
