We have waited quite sometime for the debut of the "Transformers 4" movie trailer. On Sunday night during the Super Bowl XLVIII, the highly anticipated Summer 2014 film's teaser was premiered.

According to Hollywood Life, unlike many Super Bowl commercials which released their promos ahead of the big game day, Paramount Pictures and director Michael Bay decided to build anticipation by not airing any footage of the "Transformers: Age Of Extinction" trailer whatsoever.

However, once the 30-second-clip was released, it did not disappoint. The official trailer that features a "Prepare for Extinction," title gave us an action packed number of sequences, staying true to the typical technique of Michael Bay and the "Transformers" franchise.

The movie will feature a brand new human cast and some familiar Autobots. Mark Wahlberg's will be replacing Shia LaBeouf who has been the lead in the three previous "Transformers" movies.

But Michael Bay made sure to explain the reason why LaBeouf was not cast as the lead in the fourth film of the franchise.

Despite the "Fury" actor's recent reputation for being difficult to work with, Bay told Inquirer.net that the decision to cast Wahlberg as the lead was purely about the story.

He revealed that Shia LaBeouf "was going to stop doing Transformers after doing three-because it's hard to make a fourth movie with the same characters."

"Transformers 4," aka "Transformers: Age of Extinction," will star Mark Wahlberg, Nicola Peltz, Jack Reynor, Stanley Tucci and many more.

Check out the trailer below. The film is set to hit theaters June 27, 2014.
