Another red carpet has been rolled this award season! Let's break down another gorgeous look!

Actress Jessica Chastain stunned, as always, this time in a emerald gown to compliment her signature auburn tresses. Celebrity hairstylist Renato Campora worked with the star to create her intricate updo for the 19th Annual Critics' Choice Movie Awards yesterday in Los Angeles, California. Check out the details on Jessica's romantic braided hairstyle below to rip her red carpet look:

Part old world, part chic complication, a braid always adds a touch of romance and elegance to any look. The style is timeless and always compliments an outfit, no matter how simple or how couture. Renato explained his choice for styling Chastain's hair in a braid, offering up the inspiration for his latest creation.

"My inspiration immediately came from looking at Jessica's beautiful Nina Ricci dress.  I knew I wanted to style the hair in a romantic, 1920's way," Campora explained. Jessica wore a green floor length gown with ruffle detailing at the top, along with Brian Atwood shoes to present the award for this year's Best Actress. Jessica's hair was kept simple in the front, swept back and to the side, where all the intricate braids could be found just behind the starlet's left ear.

Jessica instagrammed photos of the night with the caption: "Critics choice tonight! Sorry for the lack of updates, been under the weather! #jessicachastain." We were none the wiser, as the star still glowed and was picture perfect. Here's how to get the look, straight from Renato himself:

"On wet hair, I applied Keratese Spray a Porter ($35), and then rough dried the hair with my hands, creating texture," Renato told us. The Keratese Spray is ideal for creating instant waves and texture without the stickiness. "I then made a deep side part, and then divided the hair into two sections," he explained.  In the first section, I started to braid the hair from the right side, all the way to the ends.  I started braiding the second section from the left side, creating a round shape with a very low, soft, undone braid on the nape of the neck.  I used hair pins to maintain the style, and finished with L'Oreal Elnett Hairspray ($15)." This is a red carpet go-to choice, as the spray delivers a clean, soft shiny finish that holds all night long.

Sounds simple enough to recreate, huh? Who knew a red carpet look could be so easy and look so great!
