As we have entered a new year plastic surgery has continued to be a trend with the popular cosmetic procedure being conveniently at your finger tips. Now it seems that BodyPlastika, a cosmetic surgery app, has become one of the top plastic surgery applications.

According to Virtual Strategy Magazine, BodyPlastika which was designed by cosmetic surgeon marketing agency, Think Basis and has since been named one of the top ten apps by Healthcare Global.

In a statement made by the president of the agency states, Nick Dumitru said, "It is an honour to have BodyPlastika selected as one of the top cosmetic surgery apps."

He added, "BodyPlastika was the first cosmetic surgery visualization app for the iPhone. Our business transitioned away from app development but it's always great to be recognized for our past work."

The BodyPlastika app presents the option for users to upload a photo and manipulate it into their ideal change as if it was an actual plastic surgery procedure.

Virtual Strategy Magazine reported that the app is designed to simulate results ranging from facial to body contouring procedures, such as rhinoplasty, liposuction, breast augmentation and lip augmentation. The user of the app is given a general idea of how results may appear if the procedure were to take place.

Once you are satisfied manipulating the photos the user has the option to share it on Facebook and Twitter.

The app was created to be a more convenient way of getting an specific picture of plastic surgery results although, its users should keep in mind that they are only approximate images.
