After months of waiting and plenty of teasers HBO has finally decided to take mercy on us and premiere the "Game of Thrones" season 4 trailer!

According to MTV, the latest season picks up following the aftermath of the Red Wedding, the defeat of Robb Stark and the Northern army at the hands of Walder Frey and House Lannister.

Some things however, will not be new to "Game of Thrones" fans as King Joffrey will still be the same, continuing his horrible reign in King's Landing, but luckily there are several people with their eye on the Iron Throne that are more than willing to take him out.

Meanwhile, Mance Rayder, who is in the North is preparing his army of wildlings to head toward the great Wall of Westeros which is currently defended by Jon Snow and the Night's Watch.

But we cannot forget the East where the lovely Daenerys Targaryen is ready for a war with the slavers of Essos to the city of Meereen.

Not that those events even touch all the action we get to see this season. In the trailer, we also get our first look at Prince Oberyn Martell and the Red Viper of Dorne.

We also get a glimpse of the Battle of Castle Black, some political uprising in Meereen and King's Landing along with Jaime's golden hand, the beginning of the Purple Wedding and so much more.

It hard to believe that we are going to see so much play out in season 4 after such a long wait but we deserve it! Now we just have to wait until April 6th for "Game of Thrones" to return to HBO.
