The Golden Globes did not disappoint us last night, serving up a wide array of hair and makeup looks we are still dissecting. Of our favorites, however, was none other than rising star, Lupita Nyongo.

Nominated for her role in the epic film 12 Years A Slave, the actress stole the Best Dressed Show. Talk about a perfect red carpet look! Choosing a regal, red caped gown designed by Ralph Lauren, Lupita styled the head-turning frock with Fred Leighton jewels and red pointy-toed pumps. What's more, she rocked a super simple, super duper chic hairstyle that we just had to get all the deets on.

And the beauty of this 'do? The products used to create Lupita's red carpet hair are super affordable drugstore finds! Here's how to nab her gorgeous swag:

Larry started Lupita's glam style by liberally applying Smooth 'N Shine Go Pro Curls Curl-Licious Mist ($10) to refresh and reactivate her natural curls. The formula creates a veil of hydration that promotes body and shine while protecting each strand against heat and re-styling stress that can lead to breakage.

Next, Sims used a key tool of the hairstyling trade. Using a rat-tail comb, Larry then created a dramatic and deep side part on the right side of the starlet's head. Sims then took the part back to the crown of Lupita's head and combed her hair to each side. The simple yet elegant look paired perfectly well with Lupita's gown that made for a truly stunning statement on the red carpet.

After the dramatic part was put in place, Larry then used Smooth 'N Shine Go Pro Curls Butter Bouncin' ($13) to hydrate Lupita's hair as well as give it an easy moldable texture. The luxe curl crème is designed for thick, curly hair to penetrate dry, unruly tresses to loosen and melt them into smooth, silky waves. The benefits last for days or until your next shampoo!

And for the finishing touch, Larry used got2b 2sexy voluptuous volume hairspray ($6). Use it to create seductress styles with full, sexy hold or just freeze your glamorous 'do into place. Sims applied the spray to keep Lupita's tresses in place through a long night of Golden Globe after parties.

Leading the pack for the Best Dressed list, Lupita stole the show and proved a simple hairstyle goes a long and fabulous way!
