Happy Holiday Monday Beauty World Newsers! This week I am raving about all things Covergirl. The brand has a few fabulous innovations out just in time for the New Year, so why not get a jump on what's going to be trendy to try in 2014? Check out my new faves below and let me know if you've picked any of these babies up too.
First up is the new Bombshell Volume Mascara by Lashblast. For just $10, you get quite the handful with this guy. The packaging packs a seriously pink punch of fuchsia fun. What's more, you get two mascaras in one! Divided into two steps, use Step 1 to enhance lashes with volume, and follow it up with Step 2 to seal in with one coat for an intense, dark all day finish. Step 1 is great to use for daytime looks, and with holiday soirees in full swing, I use Step 2 when the sun goes down and the party lights come up!
Another eye enhancing product I'm loving is the Liquiline Blast Eyeliner. At $8 a pop, I've already got 4 of them and love every shade. Now I'm a novice when it comes to perfecting my peepers, but these make it super easy. Unlike a pencil that snags on the lid or a messy traditional liner, you get the ease and blendability of a waterproof pencil that goes on smooth and stays put. Plus, there's a smudged on the other end so you can smoke out your look as little or as much as you want.
And last, but certainly. To least, I am really digging the TruMagic Skin Perfector. Shiny T-zones are no match for this mega multi-tasker. For just $8, this perfecting balm instantly creates a soft matte finish. Use it alongside or sans your traditional pressed powder. Choose from not only full-size and mini versions, but also versions that provide luminous highlights or an instant touch of sun. Use these other versions on your cheekbones, chin, and Cupid's bow. This one if definitely a new must have in my beauty bag.
Planning on picking these out during your next venture into the makeup aisle? Let me know with a note below!
