Jennifer Lawrence has been know to slam the media for their corrupted image of beauty portrayed throughout various outlets and it looks like she may have been calling out Flare Magazine who altered the starlet's body for a previous magazine shoot.

According to E! News, over the weekend, a GIF surfaced that proves that the Oscar winner was clearly photoshopped when she posed for the cover of the magazine back in 2011.

In the photo Jennifer Lawrence's body was not only slimmed down but the area around the hips and waist was manipulated to look less curvy. Her face looked thinner and even her forehead size was reduced.

Of course this isn't the first time that a magazine has used airbrushing to make a model look flawless. In the past couple of years many publications have vowed to cut back on the unrealistic images of the female body by clearly not all are up to date.

During a recent sit down with ABC's Barbara Walters, Jennifer Lawrence told the journalist that "it should be illegal" to call someone fat.

According to the E! Online, last month "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" star shared her views on body images with the BBC.

She said, "When we were doing the first The Hunger Games, it was a big discussion, 'cause it's called The Hunger Games-she's from District 12, she's obviously underfed, so she would be incredibly thin.

"But, I just kept saying, 'We have the ability to control this image that young girls are going to be seeing.'"

Lawrence explained, "Girls see enough of this body that we can't imitate, that we'll never be able to obtain, these unrealistic expectations, and this is gonna be their hero, and we have control over that."

In the past the actress has revealed that she will never go on a diet for a role because she truly believes "It's better to look strong and healthy."
