Well that certainly was a wedding to remember. In case you missed "Revenge" season 3 episode 10, "Surrender" we have the recap of the biggest event of the Hamptons.
On the last episode we saw Victoria tell Emily that she will not be attending the wedding however, we know our favorite blonde needs the matriarch at the ceremony in order to frame her for murder.
Enter Conrad Grayson who she convinces to let Patrick return to the Hamptons in order to guilt Victoria into attending the wedding which she eventually agrees to do.
Upon his return Patrick rejects Nolan's romantic advances telling him that Victoria needs him and he can't be with Nolan.
Meanwhile, Emily, Nolan, and Aiden are busy planning their "fool proof" set up for framing Victoria for Emily's murder.
The plan is to lock Victoria in a room while Emily fires two shots on the deck, spills some of her own blood on the floor, jumps overboard and meets Aiden on the beach where the two will runaway and live happily ever after.
But before she goes Emily heads over to The Stowaway to say goodbye to her childhood best friend Jack Porter however, the final farewell turned into an argument about Emily ruining his life, and Jack not understanding why she has get revenge on the Graysons.
When the big day rolls around Emily stares in the mirror while in her wedding dress when Aiden enters the room and the two make out oblivious to the world.
As Emily and Daniel say their vows to one another we see flashback of our favorite blonde's childhood with her father, David Clarke.
After officially becoming Mr. and Mrs. Grayson the couple hit the wedding reception where Daniel is self medicating i.e drinking like a fish and clearly feeling trapped seeing as he wants to be with Sarah but feels the need to stay with Emily because she is pregnant.
After saying his final goodbye to his best friend and partner in crime Nolan texts Patrick to tell him he knows about his part in Conrad's and Father Paul's car crash. Mr. Ross revealed to Mr. Osborne that he knows he cut the brake but doesn't care because he has deep feelings for him.
Not to mention that this little meeting causes Patrick to miss the yacht that he was planning to go on for the family honeymoon.
Meanwhile, someone who joined the honeymoon was Lydia Davis who after Conrad went back and forth about her loyalty decided that she does truly love him and the two have every intention on becoming the new Hamptons power couple.
Despite the unexpected guest Emily's plans are falling into place until Lydia joins Victoria in a private room to show her the old photograph that shows Emily as a waiter in the Grayson mansion years ago.
Enraged Victoria confronts Emily who she accuses of targeting her family from the very beginning and trapping Daniel with a fake pregnancy which the new Mrs. Grayson admits to.
Enter Aiden who then chloroformed Victoria and dragged her away giving Emily two minutes to carry out her plan leaving the gun on the table.
However, Daniel appears announcing that he'd heard every word of their heated argument, including Emily faking the pregnancy of his first child.
Enraged by being tricked and manipulated by the beautiful blonde and after receiving a phone call his ex-girlfriend, Sarah tried to kill herself, he picks up the gun and fires two shots into Emily's stomach.
That's right, Daniel Grayson is Emily Thorne's shooter!
Now before the midseason finale ends we see Jack and Aiden find Emily's bloody wedding dress on the beach but the blonde is still missing.
However, when we cut to the preview for the second half of the season we see Ms. Thorne survived but has no recollection of what happened or who she is.
"Revenge" season 3 show runner Sunil Nayar shared some spoilers for the upcoming season.
According to E! News, He explained that following her memory loss, "We want to really answer the humanity of Emily Thorne, to get back to the girl that was destroyed by what the Graysons did, to get back to the family that destroyed her."
But that may be difficult to portray seeing as Victoria has seen the photo of Emily proving that she has been targeting the Grayson family for years.
Nayar revealed, "There's no going back on that, and so we wanted to set up things so that we have a greater knowledge of who Emily is going forward, and Emily will then slowly understand that the circumstances of what she can do are now drastically different also."
He continued, "[Victoria] now has the power in the relationship, which she hasn't had obviously in the first half of the season."
"Revenge" season 3 returns to ABC on January 5th.
