As we wait for the official video, Eminem released a teaser trailer for his song "The Monster" featuring Rihanna, on December 13th. Although we only get 57 seconds in the short clip we see a lot ranging from violent images, drug abuse and more.
In the video the "Pour it Up" singer plays the rapper's therapist and forces the "8 Mile" actor to face his demons, according to E! News.
The video begins with the sounds of a metronome, Newton's cradle and some sort of medical device. Rihanna enters the dimly lit room, dressed in a tight black dress with her hair styled in a simple black bob and blunt bangs.
The singer then places a DVD into the television and after she settles down into a chair Eminem sits back and watches the video, titled, "The Eminem Show."
The video cuts to various scenes all reflecting on the life of Eminem including his family as we get to see a glimpse of his daughter Hailie Mathers in her toddler years.
As Eminem seems less than happy to relive his past we see Rihanna studying her subject as she holds on to a pen and paper while the metronome begins to slow down.
We finally cut to a scene where two armed men are surrounding a cage that holds an unknown monster which clearly poses a threat. The video closes with the words "Coming Soon."
Eminem released "The Monster" on October 28th off of the "The Marshall Mathers LP 2" and seems like we are going to have to continue waiting for the video that discusses the rapper's past addictions along with the pressures of fame and his violent past.
