It looks like Lindsay Lohan is making headlines for something other than her topless Instagram photos. "The Canyons" actress has been accused of being involved in an attack against Barron Hilton who happens to be the younger brother of socialite Paris Hilton.

According to Newsday, Hilton, 24, was assaulted at a party in Miami Beach where he named Lindsay Lohan as the mastermind behind his attack.

While they both attended a mansion party someone allegedly told the "Mean Girls" actress that Barron Hilton was talking about her which set the troubled actress off.

Apparently she voiced her animosity to a male friend who many alleged was her boyfriend who had no problem beating the wealthy hotel heir up.

According to a police report, witnesses said the attacker wanted Hilton to leave a party and hit him with an unknown object. Neither Hilton nor two witnesses could successfully identify the suspect who left the scene in a dark green SUV.

However, others alleged that the assailant, Ray Lemoine whose rep told TMZ that Lemoine is adamant that Lindsay Lohan had nothing to do with the incident and that it was Hilton who got physical who after being asked to leave which he refused to do.

Following the attack Hilton did not want medical treatment from fire-rescue workers.

Although Lindsay Lohan has denied that she called for an attack on Hilton and insisted she did not attend the soiree, TMZ posted a 13-second video in which it showed Lindsay Lohan in a heated argument immediately after the attack however, the face of the person identified as Hilton is not seen in the short clip.

Meanwhile, the actress' mother Dina Lohan, told Newsday that TMZ.com "doesn't have the facts. Everything they're saying is not based on fact."

Barron Hilton later went to his Insagram page to post up a picture of his injuries following the assault, to which his older sister Paris Hilton had a few choice words for her little brother's attacker.

She wrote, "They both will pay for what they did. No one f***s with my family and gets away with it!!" Which was followed by two hot-head emoticons
