The pop princess is known for having a Midas touch when it comes to her beauty products. Rihanna has already released several successful perfumes, clothing lines and cosmetic collections with MAC (brought her signature RiRi Woo Lipstick yet?) Her latest scent, Rogue is a "flirty, sensual oriental" blend of lemon blossom, cyclamen, jasmine, rose, plum and suede over a musky base of woods, patchouli, vanilla and amber.
The fashion and music performer wanted to create a perfume that spoke to the person she is, and represented for ladies everywhere. "People are always changing and evolving and with Rogue, I wanted to switch it up to reflect who I am today," said RiRi. "I made it for all women, for every mood, because we all want to project our true selves."
RiRi's black-and-white clip is sultry, with the singer turning up the heat. Beauty lovers get a behind-the-scenes look at Rihanna's photo shoot for the fragrance in the video. The controversial bad girl is shown in on-set stills, and striking multiple model poses in front of the camera. Wearing only a black lingerie-like dress, the singer shows off her sexiness with steamy stares and black eyeliner, accentuated with volumized hair.
The commercial allows fans to get glimpses of RiRi's life as a rock star and edgy singer, who has a new perfume to match her style.
Donald Loftus, president of Parlux Ltd who rolled out the Bajan beauty's fragrance, believes Rogue is the perfect way to celebrate the pop diva.
"Every element of the fragrance reflects Rihanna's dynamic spirit and relentless passion and strength," said Loftus.
Women can treat themselves to the roller ball version for $18, or spend $69 for a 4.2 oz. bottle. The scent is available at department stores such as Macy's and Nordstrom.
