Orlando Bloom recently attended the premiere for his new movie, "The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug." Joined by costar Evangeline Lilly, the actor was all smiles amid his separation from model wife, Miranda Kerr.

According to JustJared, the two stars hit the red carpet together at the TCL Chinese Theatre on Monday in Hollywood.

Bloom reprised his fan favorite role as Legolas from the "The Lord of the Rings" series. Lilly returned as Tauriel, a character that wasn't featured in "The Hobbit" book, but created for the film franchise, reported JJ.

The "Romeo & Juliet" Broadway star wore head-to-toe Lanvin, looking very dapper in a classic suit.

Lilly donned a Catherine Deane dress, paired with Brian Atwood shoes. The two looked happy to pose for snapshots, while everyone watched them.

In the sequel to last year's first installment of "The Hobbit," the dwarves continued their journey to reclaim their homeland, Erebor from Smaug. They are also joined by Bilbo Baggins and Gandalf the Grey.

And Bilbo Baggins is in possession of a mysterious and magical ring in the movie, reported the celebrity news site.

Bloom may be celebrating the film, but also is in the middle of a high-profile situation with Kerr. The couple have officially split, but continue to co-parent their young son, Flynn.
