As we all know, Adam Levine has been named People Magazine's Sexiest Man Alive. Talk about getting an award!

In the feature, Adam not only dishes about his passions, family ties and new Victoria Secret lingerie supermodel fiancé Behati Prinsloo, but also about his manscaping habits. Check out what the hottie had to say about his manly beauty routine: "Someone recommended I wax. I do that. I shave as little as possible. I hate shaving. It's so unnatural, your skin is yelling at you." Get Adam and his impressive waxing knowledge! A man after our own skin care obsessed hearts!

Unfortunately we can't all have Adam's smooth, bare-chested body to ourselves, but we can encourage the special guys in our lives to take a tip from Mr. Sexy himself. After all, Adam is spot on when it comes to weighing the hair removal options. Noemi Grupenmager, founder of Uni K Wax Centers agrees.

"Waxing is the smarter choice," Noemi explained. "Shaving removes hair at skin level only, and hair reappears in one to four days.  By continually cutting the hair, you are, in fact, stimulating its growth.  Continued waxing, however, will cause hair growth to diminish over time.  Waxing is also safer than shaving and will help you avoid the daily risk of nicks, cuts, ingrown hair and the burn that comes with using razors." Ouch! And with so many of our guys still shaving as their only hair removal solution, now's a great time to highlight Adam as way to change their ideas about waxing.

When many guys think of waxing, they likely think of that hilarious scene from the hit move The 40-Year Old Virgin, but as personal lovers of waxing and with a direct answer from an expert, we are here to let all men know it's not painful if it's done right. "One thing that many people don't know is the difference between hard wax, strip wax and elastic wax, or that elastic wax even exists," Grupenmager explained.  Strip wax makes for a tedious, slow and painful procedure, often leaving the skin feeling sticky. Hard waxes break and cracks.  Elastic wax stretches to remove hair without strips causing less of a pull to the skin, meaning a more comfortable removal experience."

And not only will men love the pain free experience and ingrown hair free effects, they'll also love how long it lasts! "Waxing removes hair below the skin level, which is why it's a fairly long-lasting method of hair removal - it can last from 3 to 6 weeks," Noemi said.  If you wax consistently, it will change the growth cycle and physiology of your hair follicle. Continued waxing will also cause hair growth to diminish over time."

What's not to love guys?! If Adam is a fan, perhaps it's time for a little manscaping, no?
