Abigail Breslin is known for her role in "Little Miss Sunshine" however, she has quickly shed her innocent image as she posed topless in her latest photo shoot.

According to Us Weekly, the Academy Award nominated actress stripped down for a photo shoot with celebrity photographer Tyler Shields, who also directed her in the upcoming action/thriller "Final Girl."

In one of the stills the 17-year-old sucks on a bright red lollipop staring seductively into the camera lens while covering her bare chest with a white sheet.

However, in the other snap shot there is no material present as Abigail Breslin is submerged in a bubble bath as she stares at the camera through her raccoon eye makeup.

Shields explained the racy photo shoot, he said, "Abigail wanted to do something new, something iconic.

"People see her as innocent, but everyone grows up. After we made 'Final Girl' together, we had a great relationship and it was easy to do this. She trusts me."

The photographer admitted that he and the blonde bombshell went through a lot together during filming. He said, "I don't know if she gets nervous after the hell I put her through making the movie!"

He added, "She was great about it. She's an incredible actress!"

Unlike most child star Breslin revealed that her transition into more adult roles was an easy one.

During an interview with ABC News in October she said, "I wish I had some great story about the struggle of moving into the more adult roles, but I actually didn't."

She admitted, "I didn't have a big struggle with it at all. It's been pretty natural, the transition into the teen and adult realm."

Even though Abigail Breslin has starred in more mature roles, the actress finds it funny that people are still talking about her being "All Grown Up."

She said, "My favorite thing in the world that me and my friends talk about is that I've been all grown up for about three years now."

She joked to ABC, "Every single time I'm photographed anywhere, the headline is 'All Grown Up.' It's been about three years. I'm like, 'Okay, yeah, I'm all grown up.'"
