Although their characters Gwen Stacy and Peter Parker don't live happily ever after on screen it looks like Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield may be getting their perfect ending sooner rather than later as sources reveal that they two are considering getting engaged.
According to Us Weekly, the stars who have been dating since 2011 have been talking about taking their romance to the next level.
According to Hollywood Life, a source revealed, "They want to marry and have a family," adding, "They're discussing it. Their schedules have been crazy, but they're madly in love."
The 25-year-old actress recently wrapped her Woody Allen film "Magic in the Moonlight" while her 30-year-old boyfriend was busy in New York City checking out apartments for his girlfriend to call home when she returned from Paris.
"The Amazing Spider-Man 2" couple were recently stepped on the red carpet on November 16th while promoting the sequel to their new film.
The couple typically doesn't reveal much about their relationship however the actor did spill some details to Teen Vogue about their first encounter. He said, "It was like I woke up when she came in."
He added, "She was the last person to screen-test, and I was so bored of it by then that I was mucking about-I'd been pretending I was Tom Hanks or Seth Rogen. And then she came in, and it was like diving into white-water rapids and having no desire to hang on to the side.
"Throughout shooting, it was wild and exciting. I couldn't help but try to stay with her, keep pace with her, and not let her get away. [Laughs] Like an animal preying on a smaller animal, but a wily smaller animal."
According to the Daily Mail, Emma Stone previously discussed her onscreen chemistry with Andrew Garfield. She said, "I don't think you should try to explain the chemistry between two people - it's either there or it isn't."
She explained, "Initially, I was worried that The Amazing Spider-Man was going to be all CGI and green screens. But then I got the script, which had these incredible scenes between Peter and Gwen with real emotion and heart.
"The final audition - where they had me in full costume and hair to shoot scenes with Andrew - convinced me to take the part."
Earlier this year the two shot the sequel to the "Spider-Man" franchise alongside Sally Field and Jamie Foxx.
