Sometimes you just have to reexamine your beauty regime with fresh new eyes. And after using my latest three new picks, I've done just that, since holiday season already has me running ragged. So to combat the dreaded look of dark circles and puffy eyes, I've been paying extra attention to my peepers. Check out my three picks to help keep you bright and bushy tailed this busy festive season, and let me know if you've tried any.

So before any makeup or concealer goes on, I have been treating my sensitive under eye area to a little luxe formula by Orlane Skin Care. This French beauty company has been around for decades and has a tried and true following. I opted to try the Anti-Fatigue Eye Contour. It may be $120, but it truly works. This ultra-fine gel-cream contains White Lily extracts to decongest, smooth, and eliminate temporary puffiness and dark circles. The eye contour makes my eyes look well rested and rejuvenated, and if it can do that despite me only getting half the recommended amount of hours for sleep, it's a winner in my beauty book.

Once I've treated this delicate area with the proper skin care, I apply my new L'Oreal True Match Foundation. For $8, I love that it's in a chubby crayon stick, so I can avoid touching my face and simply use the tool, letting it go directly under my eyes. Available in six shades, this little stick offers customizable coverage for the tiniest of blemishes to larger areas of imperfections. The tip of the crayon allows for precise application, while the side of it can easily canvas a larger area of skin. Choose your level of sheer to full coverage. I love that the shades blend easily and won't look cakey or like you've obviously highlighted your face.

And what am I using to blend concealer and foundation into my skin for a flawless festive look? I am loving my Perfectionist Makeup Sponge. This innovative tool is a must try. Priced at $13, dip the sponge in water, wring it out so it's damp, add your concealer/foundation, and watch as light taps of application to your face precisely apply your makeup. The great moisture retention of this tool makes it ideal for blending. With this sponge, my concealer looks like it's my skin and not a desperate attempt to conceal my lack of sleep. It's also perfect for applying skincare products too.
