Miley Cyrus was reportedly dissed and dismissed by Lamar Odom at a popular Los Angeles hotspot in 2013. The "Wrecking Ball" singer and performer wanted to hang out with Khloe Kardashian's husband, who didn't want anything to do with her.

According to Hollywood Life, the 20-year-old had invited the basketball star to spend some time with her, but he refused.

Liam Hemsworth's ex-fiance may be the life of the party, but reportedly, Odom wasn't impressed at Beacher's Madhouse on Oct. 30. The two stars were spotted separately before Cyrus noticed the athlete, and called him over to her table.

The talked-about performer wanted to chill with the reality TV star, reported HL.

"Miley invited him to come smoke and hang with her," said an insider.

Why did Kim and Kourtney Kardashian's brother-in-law say no? Given that rumors have been swirling about Odom's alleged drug use and marital troubles, he didn't want any more bad media attention. He didn't want to be associated with the controversial starlet.

"Lamar didn't want to be next to Miley and for rumors to fly," said the onlooker.

HL reported that Odom's reason for turning down Cyrus made perfect sense.

"That's understandable from Lamar's point of view - especially with the troubling rumors surrounding his marriage," said an HL intern. "With all the attention on him, there's no need to add fuel to fire. At the same time though, we would have liked to see what would have happened if Miley and Lamar partied together."
