Even though Princess Beatrice committed a major fashion faux pas at the royal wedding with her abnormally large hat, Sarah Duchess of York's daughter is finally getting some positive attention for her quirky style.
While at the Fashion for the Brave fundraiser, the 25-year-old royal grabbed attention as she arrived at the Dorchester Hotel wearing a black fitted dress and a matching bolero, according to express.co.uk.
Beatrice who attended the event without boyfriend Dave Clark rocked the ensemble which fell just below her knee and featured an asymmetrical hemline as well as gold button detailing down the sides.
The royal chose to accessorize with simple black heels, a gold clutch bag and matching jewelry.
Last week it was announced that Dave Clark's girlfriend, whose sister Princess Eugenie currently lives in New York will be the royal patron of the 2013 Fashion for the Brave event.
Prince Harry's cousin attended the star-studded event which helps raise funds for injured soldiers and mingled with the likes of Abbey Clancy and Russian model Katia Elizarova.
Over the summer Princess Beatrice quit her job in finance and has since taken on numerous royal duties.
According to express.co.uk, a well-placed royal source said "Beatrice is rapidly becoming the glamour girl of the Royal family. She is brilliant at talking to people and spreading a feel-good factor."
The insider added, "Some charities who have had royal patrons are interested in getting Beatrice to succeed them. People like the Duke of Kent and Princess Alexandra are getting on and have suffered some illness. "William, Catherine and Harry can't do it all, so why not use Beatrice as well?"
