According to Just Jared, the two-time Oscar-nominated starlet, 36, also opened up about her life.

"My life has gone, you know, a little wonderful and crazy," said Chastain.

The ravishing screen star even shocked readers with some of her comments. Despite being considered one of Hollywood's sexiest actresses, Chastain doesn't feel like it.

"I did not feel like a beautiful woman that people would kill each other for," explained Chastain. "Jessica - who I am in my personal life - I'm very shy, I feel very awkward, I don't feel like a femme fatale at all."

The starlet may not known the depth of her beauty, but her best friend does.

"She's always been unbelievably focused," said Jess Weixler, Chastain's best friend from The Julliard School, about knowing the star in college. "It used to drive the guys crazy. 'Why won't Jessica stay up late?' There were a few times when I was like: I can't believe she's waking up on a Saturday to go to an extra class."

Chastain is proving that she not only has what her best buddy described as a strong work ethic, but mass appeal. The starlet looked breathtaking in a bright yellow gown on Vogue's cover, with her fiery locks blowing away in the background.

During the high-fashion shoot, the starlet posed in a number of eye-catching looks, including standing in a garden in a summery white frock.
