Although she is the gorgeous wife of the very handsome Ryan Ryenolds, Blake Lively has made a name for herself in Hollywood however, her charm wasn't so affective when it came to her high school administration.
According to Entertainment Wise, the "Gossip Girl" star recently revealed that she was prevented from attending her high school graduation ceremony, despite being passionate about her education.
Blake Lively, 26, joined fellow Hollywood elites such as Harvey Weinstein, Whoopi Goldberg and Naomi Harris for the first ever Careers in Film Workshop, hosted by Michelle Obama.
During the event which was attended by high school students across the United States, Lively revealed that due to her hectic schedule which led to several absences when she was a teen, including her appearance in the 2005 film "The Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants," she was told that she was ineligible to receive her high school diploma.
During her teenage years the actress held the title of class president in her high school along with extracurricular activities including cheerleader and a member of the championship choir.
Blake Lively admitted that she felt "shut down" by administrators. She said, "Acting was the only thing I knew I didn't want to do. I wanted to get a great education... If I could, I would go back and I would go to college."
However, dreams of a "great education" will just have to wait seeing as she has been announced as the lead in the movie, "The Age of Adaline." This role will mark her first movie since her marriage to Ryan Reynolds took place over a year ago.
Lively who is also the new face of L'Oreal Paris has been called a "beauty icon for a whole generation."
A statement from the actress read, "I grew up with the inspiration of their message; 'We're worth it.' What an important value to instil in women. That beauty is rooted in confidence. That is key. That is why I'm so proud to be a L'Oréal Paris woman."
Blake Lively most recently appeared alongside her husband Ryan Renolds on Saturday at "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to Parkinson's" event, which benefits The Michael J. Fox Foundation.
