Cynthia Rowley recently debuted her self-titled color-cosmetics collection with e-commerce site, Birchbox. Click through the slideshow to see each of her three makeup items!
The New York-based fashion designer is known for her impeccable style and eye-catching prints, but is dipping her feet into the beauty pool. Cynthia Rowley Beauty includes a 12-hour liquid eyeliner for $18. Beauty lovers can also treat themselves to a dual of limited edition items: a $24 Eye Shadow Palette with five pigmented colors and $15 Gilded Canvas Bag.
Birchbox described the trio of products catering to your beauty needs:
- Eye Shadow Palette - No. 1: With five shades ranging from a shimmery champagne to a speckled gold plum, this palette will take you from day to night-and everything in between.
- Liquid Liner in Black Ink: Thanks to its handy pen-tip applicator, this liner is a cinch to apply.
- Gilded Canvas Bag: Between the luxe gold foil and bold print, you'll be tempted to use this pouch as a clutch.
Rowley hopes to get feedback on her assemblage. "We're launching only online, creating a dialogue with our consumer, so we're able to react and gather data and really use social media to have immediate feedback," said Cynthia, who is Birchbox's first designer collaborator, according to Women's Wear Daily. "Rather than just throwing more product in the world, it's about influencing design in a new way."
Shoppers can order Cynthia's items on Birchbox.com and at her stores, individually or as a group for $42. The fashion visionary will roll out additional items, including a spring collection, in a monthly Birchbox for subscribers.
Cynthia, who had collaborated with the site before, is also open to expanding her range into "a cohesive collection," which could be more widely available over the next year or two.
