Following the release of her hit song "The Way," Ariana Grande is quickly becoming a household name. However, the "Sam and Cat" star who is the cover girl of Complex spoke about some uninvited guests.

According to Us Weekly, Ariana Grande told the December issue of the magazine that she had a "ghost/demon experience" over the summer during a visit to Kansas City in August.

While on her trip the "Baby I" singer decided to explore several haunted excursions with friends.

Nathan Skykes' girlfriend visited a haunted castle and then the following night, Stuff Cemetery, which she explained "is known as one of the seven gates to hell on Earth."

The singer even posted an Instagram video from the spooky experience captioned, "Ghost hunting #kansascity."

She told the magazine, "I felt this sick, overwhelming feeling of negativity over the whole car and we smelled sulfur, which is the sign of a demon... I was like, 'This is scary, let's leave.'

"I rolled down the window before we left and said, 'We apologize. We didn't mean to disrupt your peace.' Then I took a picture and there are three super distinct faces in the picture-they're faces of textbook demons."

In September she explained to fans in an Instagram video why she couldn't post the photo and explained that she quickly deleted it after "weird things" began to happen.

The actress said that following her visit she heard a "really loud rumble" and "whispers," seeing "these really disturbing images with, like, red shapes" when she closed her eyes, and opening her eyes to this "massive black matter" on the left side of her bed.

However, Grande revealed that she did not "feed into it" because whatever she encountered, "feeds on fear."

When the talented singer isn't too busy being haunted she is focused on her image and confessed that she doesn't want to be a sex symbol.

She explained "I don't see myself as sexy," adding, "And I'm not comfortable being sexy and dressing sexy. I don't see myself ever becoming a sex symbol."

The singer went on to say, "If it's not in your taste, don't look at it," adding, "I don't feel comfortable flaunting my body that much yet.

"I don't need to do that to show I'm grown up. I don't want people to talk about my choices or how little I'm wearing. I just want the conversation to be about the music and what I'm creating."
