It looks like the cast members of the "Twilight Saga" have both good and creepy memories to look back on. Apparently while the cast shot the last film they can't seem to forget the creepy "Twilight" doll used during shooting to portray Edward and Bella's daughter, Renesmee.
According to Christian Post, in the last film of the franchise, "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn- Part 2," fans did not get to see the creepy doll that was used to project Mackenzie Foy's face on to during the editing process.
However, during an interview on "The Ellen Show" both Nikki Reed and Mackenzie Foy spoke about what happened behind the behind-the-scenes while filming with the creepy doll.
Reed's complaints with the doll were more so focused on the difficulties that came with holding the heavy doll. She said, "I understand the theory behind it, you know, to have this little creature that does all the hand movements and stuff.
"I want the whole world to forgive me now before this movie comes out, because I'm holding like a 60-pound mechanical doll. It's really difficult for me."
Meanwhile, Foy quipped that it was weird to see her face projected on so many different people because it wasn't her body.
Wyck Godfrey, who is the producer on the "Twilight" film was not a fan of the animatronic doll. He explained, "Chuckesmee is one of the most grotesque animatronic babies ever to not be seen on film."
He added, "You're trying to create something that's otherworldly with Renesmee in the movie that has to be preternaturally intelligent yet still look like a baby but actually look a little bit more mature than one would be at one-day-old.
"So we ended up pulling the thing out on the day and shooting it."
According to the Entertainment Weekly, Director Bill Condon said, "Chuckesmee was a giant misfire on all fronts. Truly, it was one of the most grotesque things I've ever seen. It was a horror show!
"There was one shot where I call, 'Cut!' and suddenly she turns her head and mechanically stares right into the camera. It was incredibly disturbing."
