Heidi Klum did it again this year with her shocking Halloween costume. After much teasing from photos of her in the makeup chair before her annual Halloween party, the supermodel finally revealed her 2013 Halloween costume on Thursday night October 31st which was her future herself and went as an old woman.

The "Project Runway" host took to her Instagram account to post a picture of herself on her way to the Svedka-sponsored fete at New York City hotspot Marque, according to Us weekly.

Attached to the photo, Heidi Klum wrote, "Happy Halloween!"

The 40-year-old former Victoria's Secret model's costume was very realistic including age spots on her body and raised varicose veins running up her long legs. The model even tied up her blonde hair to throw on a stringy white wig.

Klum was pretty much unrecognizable as her normally gorgeous, flawless skin was now sagging with the help of makeup and consisted of wrinkles on her forehead, chin, and neck. The model completed her look with a pearl necklace, printed top, a houndstooth suit and walked with a black cane, according to the magazine.

Heidi Klum is known for her outrageous Halloween costumes with fans looking forward to what she will be each year. In the past Seal's ex-wife's costume included Cleopatra (2012), an ape (2011), an alien robot (2010), a black crow (2009), and a Hindu goddess (2008).

In an interview with Parade magazine earlier this year she explained that she puts a lot of thought into every costume. She said, "I start thinking of ideas months before Halloween, and I have an amazing team who makes the impossible possible."

She explained, "I don't really have a system for picking my costume each year, they just kind of come to me. It's definitely not a last-minute decision. It takes months of preparation."

Klum insists that her creative costumes are a way to inspire her party guests to do better.

She said, "I want people to strive to have a better costume than me," adding, "I want my guests to really wow me! It's so much fun when I'm looking at someone in their costume and it takes me a few minutes to figure out it is one of my closest friends!"

She revealed, "I take Halloween very seriously, so I'm not a fan of a thrown-together costume," she continued, "but in an absolute pinch, look around at what items you have around your house.

"You'd be surprised what you can come up with. Or cut two holes in a bed sheet and be a ghost. But seriously, I'd rather stay home than go out in an uninspired costume."
