It looks like Big Sean's girlfriend turned fiancé Naya Rivera has high hopes following the end of her hit Fox series "Glee" and sees a spin off show in the future for her character Santana Lopez as the star.

With the musical comedy set to end next year in season 6 the newly engaged actress revealed that she felt her character deserved a follow up story, according to Entertainment Wise.

When asked if Santana was worthy of a solo project, Naya Rivera said "duh," while attending ELLE's Women in Hollywood gala.

She added, "She can do anything. That's the beauty of Santana."

Despite the fact that the creator of "Glee," Ryan Murphy has decided to end the series, putting many people out of a job following the death of one of the show's stars, Cory Monteith, Rivera doesn't seem too bitter about the decision.

She said, "We always kind of knew that," she added "We've had an amazing run on this show, and so whenever it ends, it has to end. Unfortunately, it can't go on forever. But, I'm just really grateful that I was on it for this long."

Last week it was revealed that the original finale was going to revolve around Finn, played by Cory Monteith, and his real life girlfriend and costar's character Rachel Berry, played by Lea Michele.

However Monteith died from a fatal mixture of heroin and alcohol at 31- years-old back in July with the latest "Glee" episode dedicated as a tribute to him and his character.

Previously, Murphy explained the uncertainty of the show at an event inside the Paley Center. He said, "When a tragedy like that happens you sort of have to pause and figure out what you want to do, so we're figuring that out now."
