After rumors about Scott Eastwood being considered to play Christian Grey in "Fifty Shades of Grey" were running wild, the star is dealing with some sad news. His father, Clint and stepmother, Dina are heading for divorce.

According to People, the former E! star, 48, is ready to end her marriage after 17 years to the "Dirty Harry" star, 83.

The brunette mom and former TV news reporter filed divorce papers in Monterey County Superior Court in Carmel, Calif. on Monday. The move comes just weeks after Dina Eastwood withdrew documents about separating from the veteran actor.

The pair's split was confirmed by People in September.

"This is really sad," a source said at the time. "They were great parents for many years."

A source close to the family told US Weekly that Dina Eastwood was having difficulties in her marriage for a while now.

"Dina could not handle how Clint decided to live with his new girlfriend and her son," the source said to US. "It tortured her. She was deciding what to do and figure out the best course of action given this news so she withdrew the separation. But she decided this is what she needed to do now. She has been devastated."

The former reality TV star is citing the usual irreconcilable differences. She is asking for physical custody of their 16-year-old daughter, Morgan, and wants with spousal support and attorney files paid for by her husband.

Clint Eastwood has reportedly been has been dating Erica Fisher, who has been living in his Los Angeles home. Fisher also has been seen driving the actor's Mercedes Benz around town.
