Kim Kardashian did her best to quickly shed her baby weight after delivering her and Kanye West's baby girl North West.
In the November 4th issue of PEOPLE magazine the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star revealed her exact diet plan and exercise regimen, according to Hollywood Life.
The reality star admitted that she has since lost 43 pounds following her daughter's birth in June but she confessed that she still has insecurities.
Kim said, "This was the biggest challenge of my life, and I still have some to go, but I feel so accomplished that I did this."
The Kardashian Kollection designer said that she eats about 2,000 calories a day which includes healthy fats and proteins that are found on the Atkins diet.
A typical day for Kim consists of the following:
Breakfast: Two egg omelet with cheese and spinach. She explained, "Starting my day with a good breakfast sets the tone of the day."
Lunch: Grilled salmon with asparagus and a side salad. She said, "I've loved eating fish after my pregnancy."
Afternoon snacks: Turkey meat with cheese and Greek yogurt with berries and almonds. The "Yeezus" rapper's girlfriend said, "Snacks keep me going when I get hungry breast-feeding."
Dinner: Chicken breast with broccoli and a leafy green salad.
Now despite the fact that Kim Kardashian's diet seems simple it proves to be a challenge for the new mom.
The reality star has a strict diet which consists of no carbs like bread and pasta, and alcohol.
She revealed. "My entire pregnancy I only ate carbs. I craved plain bread, which was odd for me. So to cut it out completely was a challenge, but I was mentally ready for it!"
As for exercise Kardashian heads to Barry's Bootcamp where she burns 1,000 calories in 60 minutes and combines strength training and cardio. Add that along with Pilates and specific focus on butt and thigh workouts and you have 43 pound lighter Kim Kardashian.
An instructor said, "We work inner thighs with dumbbells to work your legs and arms, then squats. Kim works hard."
