VH1's new 2013 "Crazy Sexy Cool" movie about the legendary group, TLC got mixed reviews after its premiere on Monday night. But many fans were happy to see stars Keke Palmer, Lil' Mama and Drew Sidora re-create many of the group's iconic music videos.

According to Slate Magazine, the film tells the story of Tionne "T-Boz" Watkins, Rozonda "Chilli" Thomas and the late Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes during their years atop the charts from 1990 to 2002. Though the movie convinces fans and non-fans alike that the group was "amazing," it isn't easy to follow at times.

"CrazySexyCool is a not a particularly well-constructed biopic, hopping from moment to moment like moviemaking was just a matter of checking scenes off a list," wrote Slate's Willa Paskin,"but it does everything that Tionne "T-Boz" Watkins and Rozonda "Chilli" Thomas, the two surviving members of TLC, could ask for: It will absolutely convince you that TLC was amazing."

Paskin continued, "As art, CrazySexyCool is middling; as propaganda it is very effective."

The film shows many of their dramatic ups and downs from T-Boz's battle with sickle cell anemia to Lopes' infamous arson incident inside  then-boyfriend, Andre Rison's home. But the movie best captures TLC's fun, sassy, girl power spirit through re-creating their most popular videos including "Waterfalls," "Unpretty," "No Scrubs" and "What About Your Friends."

Many celebrities agreed that the movie's musical moments were quite special on Twitter.

"Just finished watchin #CrazySexyCool #TLC...Those girls did work! Lil Mama, Keke & Drew, GREAT job! TLC still gives me life :)," tweeted Gabrielle Union.

Jurnee Smollett-Bell posted, "Bravo @LilMama @DREWSIDORA @KekePalmer...Wonderful acting, dancing...&they looked gorgeous! Ima watch this a second time #CrazySexyCool."
