Ariana Grande is finally addressing cheating rumors alleged by her ex-boyfriend, YouTube sensation Jai Brooks that she was unfaithful to him and hooked up with The Wanted's Nathan Sykes during their relationship.

"The Way" singer spoke with Entertainment Wise and explained her side of the story after rumors begun to swirl when she publicly announced her romance with Sykes.

Grande said, "It can be hurtful when you read into it and you allow it to hurt you but at the end of the day you have to stand for yourself and you have to know your truth and you have to know that you are doing the right things and you're just living your life and you're going to talk because these people don't know you."

She revealed, "I feel that if I had the chance to have a conversation with each and every one of my haters, they would leave being like 'Oh, she's actually pretty chilled.' But I don't have the opportunity and sometimes you've just got to turn it off and delete the Twitter app for a couple of days."

Ariana Grande, 20, who is dating Nathan Sykes, also 20, explained why she and her current boyfriend decided to keep the fact that they were in a relationship a secret. The "Baby I" singer admitted that she grew concerned that her fans would learn of her new love interest through gossip sites.

She said, "We were still trying to figure it out, we both have really open relationships with our fans so we wanted to tell them when there was something to know because we didn't want them to find out through some outlet or some weird source."

She added, "So we just felt like it would be more honest to tell them straight up because if there's something to be said I'd rather it come from me and him and we felt the same way."

Moving on with her life the singer is currently promoting her new album "Yours Truly" which hit number one on the US Billboard 200 chart.
