District 1 - District 1 makes the luxury goods that decorate and beautify our great Capitol. Its excellent taste and craftsmanship keep Capitol residents bewigged and bedazzled year-round. "I was inspired by the idea of luxury, opulence - rich sumptuous color on the lips and nails," Dotti said of her creation. Check out the get the look video HERE.
District 2 - District 2 is known for its superb stonework. It builds and fortifies the cities and its citizens are known individually for their strength. "I went for a matte, chalky, yet elegant finish that represents the stone of Masonry in a feminine way," Dotti explained. Check out the get the look video HERE.
District 3 - Panem is one of the most advanced nations in mankind's history, thanks to the efforts of District 3. Its computers keep everyone connected and its electronic gadgets keep all entertained. For this look, Dotti said, "I wanted to embrace the innovations of the digital, tech space while maintaining femininity with a bit of edge." Check out the get the look video HERE.
District 4 - Do you like seafood? Shrimp and crabmeat? Often overlooked, District 4 plays an essential role, bringing us the bounty of the sea. These citizens are adept with nets and tridents, and can swim like fish themselves. "I was inspired by the iridescence of the sea: fish scales, ocean plants, the endless shades of blues and greens," Dotti explained. Check out the get the look video HERE.
District 5 - Electric, solar, and nuclear - District 5 harnesses the energy of the earth and the sky in order to power the great nation. Of this look, Dotti said, "Power has many meanings. Strong. In your face. Bold." Check out the get the look video HERE.
District 6 - Hovercrafts, high-speed trains, and cargo trains come to us from District 6. Ironically, the citizens here have little love for travel. "This look is racy. Slick, fast, and elegant," Dotti said. Check out the get the look video HERE.
District 7 - This beautiful district is lush with trees, from which these citizens supply lumber and paper. The people of District 7 are hardworking and down-to-earth. "It's nature, lumber, wood. Earthy, beautiful and wearable, but yet cool," Dotti remarked. Check out the get the look video HERE.
District 8 - From the simple, lovely fabrics of the districts to the brocades favored in the Capitol, District 8 makes it all. Dotti described her idea for this look. "Textiles is layers, colors, textures, everything. It's rich in every culture, and that's what's beautiful about it." Check out the get the look video HERE.
District 9 - District 9 is Panem's bread bowl, providing the fertile harvest needed to keep rising as a nation. Its amber waves of grain are an inspiration to all. "I was inspired by golden neutrals and the earthiness of grains," Dotti said. Check out the get the look video HERE.
District 10 - The gentle lowing of cattle is the first thing a visitor to District 10 hears. This region raises strong, healthy livestock, which becomes the meat that helps raise strong, healthy children of Panem. "I think this palette is lively and beautiful, and so refreshing in many ways," Dotti said. Check out the get the look video HERE.
District 11 - Known for its bountiful orchards, District 11's workers spend their days among rustling fruit trees and sizeable farms. "Agriculture can go so many ways," Dotti said. "It's about the fresh blossoms and brightness." Check out the get the look video HERE.
District 12 - One of the outer districts, this is nonetheless a crucial one. These brave and hardy workers descend deep into the earth each day to mine the coal that keeps the nation running. "Just like a coal mine, in amongst the coal is a bit of canary yellow," Dotti explained. Check out the get the look video HERE.
