"The Vampire Diaries" season 5 episode 2 "True Lies" is set to air within a couple of hours and we have some juicy spoilers for you.

With so many events taking place in episode 1 there are some many questions left unanswered however, one thing that bugged us is what is Nadia (Olga Fonda) doing in Mystic Falls?

You remember Nadia, the Eastern European who had a threesome with Matt and Rebekah in Prague during their summer fling. In the end of episode 1 it was revealed that she followed Matt back to Mystic Falls in order to perform some sort of spell on him, according to Wetpaint.

What is the deal with that girl? Well, Michael Ausiello said, "You seriously wouldn't believe [Nadia's story] if I told you."

He revealed that Nadia has "a very surprising connection" to someone else on the show. Wetpaint believes that she is somehow connected to Katherine, who traveled throughout Eastern Europe and seeing as Katherine was recently turned into a human again Nadia's sudden trip would make perfect timing.

But you must also remember that the Salvatore brothers also had their go at life overseas and could have made some enemies over there as well.

Also there is also Silas, she could be working with him or against him, nobody really knows what to expect from that particular doppelganger.
