An upcoming 'Witches of East End' 2013 episode will feature Freddie Prinze Jr. Sarah Michelle Gellar's husband went shirtless as a guest star, playing Madchen Amick's love interest.

According to JustJared, the 37-year-old actor showed off his sculpted six pack and toned abs on the new Lifetime drama starring Jenna Dewan-Tatum.

The former teen hearthrob plays Leo Wingate, a "gallant and sweetly shy entomologist." His character falls head over heels for the Amick-played Wendy Beauchamp, according to Entertainment Weekly.

The star's scholar character is said to specialize in rare and exotic insects. But the Prinze Jr.-played Leo soon begins to wonder whether Wendy is more interested in his body or his bugs.  

He is set to guest star in the fourth episode, with more appearances possible, reported EW.

This is not the first time that the veteran actor and Amick have worked together. The two co-starred on Prinze Jr.'s short-lived, self-titled 2005 sitcom, "Freddie" a few years ago.

Afterward, the "I Still Know What You Did Last Summer" and "She's All That" star appeared on Fox's "24" during the show's eighth season.
