It looks like Halle Berry's daughter Nahla Aubry is finally a big sister as the Academy Award winning actress finally gave birth to a baby boy on Saturday October 5th.

The "X-Men" actress and her husband Olivier Martinez welcomed their first child together into the world over the weekend, the actress' rep confirmed, according to Us Weekly.

Berry, 47, first announced she was pregnant on April 5th to CNN. She said that it was "the biggest surprise of [her] life."

She added, "Thought I was kind of past the point where this could be a reality for me," she confessed, "So it's been a big surprise and the most wonderful."

Following that Berry kept pretty quiet about her pregnancy but later admitted to Entertainment Tonight in May that she considered the conception a "miracle."

She said, "I feel really happy. It's one of the best things that happened in my life, for sure," she told reporters at the 20th annual EIF Revlon Run/Walk For Women event at the time.

Halle Berry and Olivier Martinez, also 47, were married over the summer in an intimate ceremony in Vallery, France. On July 13th the pair tied the knot in a wedding ceremony of around 60 guests. Sources told Us Weekly that the newlyweds "partied long into the night" during the celebration.

The two first met in 2010, on the set of their film "Dark Tide" but the actress did not confirm the relationship until much later.

The baby boy is the first child for Martinez while it is the second for Berry, who gave birth to her 5-year-old daughter Nahla in 2008 with her ex-boyfriend, model Gabriel Aubry. The two began to date in 2005 but split in April 2010.

Berry revealed to talk show host Wendy Williams last fall that her daughter was asking for a sibling for quite some time. She told Williams, "That's the thing. [My daughter is] asking me."

She went on to say, "Every night we pray to God, and she's so sweet. She says, 'God, please bring me a bunk bed and a baby sister.' And I say, 'I can do one of those things, I know for sure! The other one we have to keep praying on.' What do you say to her when she wants that and can't understand why God's taking so long, you know?"

Well it looks like Nahla's prayers were finally answered.

Congratulation to the happy couple.
