Months after a secret wedding ceremony and marriage it looks like Janet Jackson and her Qatari billionaire husband Wissam Al Mana are ready to complete their family with a baby.

A source close to the couple confirmed to Us Weekly that the "All for You" singer, 47, is "quietly" researching the process of adopting a child from a third-world country.

The insider revealed, "She now pretty much knows pregnancy is not in the cards, so she's been looking into adopting."

Adding, "She's been very moved by the events in Jordan and Syria now that she's been living overseas. Not sure how soon it will happen, but there's been movement on this."

According to Page Six, which first broke the Janet Jackson baby news story, reported that the pop star has reached out to Queen Rania of Jordan to help with the adoption.

The source admitted to the paper that "Janet has always been concerned about the welfare of the world's children, and it's important to her that she affords a baby the opportunities that have been afforded her."

In the past Us Weekly has reported about the musician's desire to start a family with Al Mana, whom she began dating in the summer of 2010.

At the time an insider told the magazine, "She wants kids," adding, "If she can't have them, she will adopt."

Wissam Al Mana is Jackson's third husband. She was previously married to James DeBarge and Rene Elizondo, the "Poetic Justice" actress also held a long-term relationship with Jermaine Dupri.
