"Transformers 4: Age of Extinction" fans are excited over the first official and newly released movie photo. The Mark Wahlberg film is still set for a June 2014 release date, too.

According to JustJared, Wahlberg, 42, and rising star Nicola Peltz, 18 are shown in the newly released movie still.

The two co-stars are joined by actor Jack Reynor. They are pictured in a dusty, rundown gas station in what seems to be the middle of nowwhere, and the co-stars are very casually dressed.

There's been a lot of action on the "Transformers" Detroit set, including a lot of tricky stunts and crazy fans. For our first story featuring more on-set videos, click HERE.

The movie centers around on a "mechanic and his daughter, who make a discovery that brings down Autobots and Decepticons and a paranoid government official on them," reported JJ.

Early in September, the movie's official poster had been released. The poster shows the film's logo partially covered in sand and sitting on what appears to be the desert floor. Specifically, a Decepticon symbol is split down the middle with the number "4" right next to it.

The image could mean many things, but the title may just refer to the series' newest robot characters, reported MTV.

The celebrity news and music site also said that Dinobots, robots that change into metallic dinosaurs as opposed to expensive sportscars, will appear in the forthcoming film. Producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura confirmed the rumor to Beijing News, reported MTV.

"I cannot disclose the specifics, but you can be sure that the arrival of the Dinobots will give the audience a lot to be excited about," Bonaventura said.

Mark your calendars! "Transformers 4: Age of Extinction" arrives in theaters on June 27, 2014.
