Miss America Pageant Debuts New R.E.I.G.N. Cosmetics Line

Last night, among the glitz, glam, and goregous gowns, beauty company, Joshua Brands, along with the Miss America Organization, debuted the exciting launch of R.E.I.G.N., an exclusive skincare and cosmetics line. R.E.I.G.N. was the Official Cosmetics Sponsor of the 2014 Miss America Competition, held in Atlantic City, which aired live on ABC.

The collection launched with such must-have items as Galor-ious Lashes Mascara, Blooming Glow Blusher, and Sheer Perfection Pressed Powder.  In an homage to the State Titleholders who compete for the Crown, Lasting Luxe Lipsticks come in luscious tints using actual ingredients from many State Flowers:  Apple Blossom Red, Pink Prairie Rose and Coral Azalea, to name a few.  All products are proudly made in America too!  The brand, which aims to inspire everyday American girls and young women from all walks of life, made its debut during Miss America Competition, a perfect first way to reach out to its audience.

This creative collaboration kicked off with an exciting week of events ranging from getting contestants "R.E.I.G.N-ready" for TV interviews to providing key makeup applications on site for events leading up to the big show.  All 53 contestants had the opportunity to wear R.E.I.G.N. during the week as well as on stage as they competed to win the Miss America title. 

"Skincare and cosmetics have always been a natural extension of the Miss America brand, but our partnership with Joshua Brands through the launch of R.E.I.G.N., allows us to be part of a collection that focuses on the total package of what's most meaningful for young women," said Ike S. Franco, Managing Partner, Miss America Properties. 

The price point of R.E.I.G.N., which launched at the Miss America Pop-Up Store at the Pier Shops in Atlantic City, will range from $12 to $60.  The line is now available for sale through and will hit masstige-level retailers in spring of 2014.

And congrats to Miss New York, Nina Davuluri, who took home the title of Miss America 2014 and is the first woman of Indian heritage to hold the title!
