'Jurassic Park 4' sequel is finally hitting theaters in 2015. The movie has gotten a new "Jurassic World" title and release date, which is less than two years away after delaying the film's original 2014 premiere.

According to E! Online, many fans were not sure if the movie was getting another sequel, but its return has created a buzz.

Universal Pictures just announced that the film would have a new title and hit theaters on June 12, 2015. Steven Spielberg, who was behind the first two films, will serve as producer this time around.

Colin Trevorrow will direct this forthcoming film, which will be 3-D. Trevorrow had directed the buzzy sci-fi indie, "Safety Not Guaranteed."

But other than those big details, little else is known about the film. In terms of the cast and plot, fans will just have to take guesses for not as to who will appear in the highly anticipated sequel and what will happen onscreen.

According to The Guardian, the new film could see John Hammond's dream of a fully functional Jurassic Park coming to life. But Trevorrow recently shot down the rumors that the film would feature tame dinosaurs performing for humans.

Though the specifics are up in the air, fans are just happy that the movie will actually see the light of day. The film has been pushed back for several years now, but the original 1993 "Jurassic Park" film, 1997's "The Lost World" and 2001's "Jurassic Park III" kept fans busy.

The film series is based on Michael Crichton's novels about prehistoric beasts brought back to life through gene technology. The series is one of Hollywood's longest running sagas, with more than $1.9 billion made in sales at the global box office so far.
