Justin Bieber is in the news again after his N-word controversy. The Instagram favorite allegedy was smoking pot on a plane, with the pilot saying Selena Gomez' ex-boyfriend was "baked out of his mind." 

According to TMZ, Biebs is now officially a member of the mile-high club. 

Sources told the celebrity news site that the baby-faced crooner and his friends smoked marijuana in their SUV while riding to an airport for a coast-to-coast flight recently. When the truck's doors opened on the tarmac, the pilot was greeted by several clouds of smoke. 

"I almost had to put on an oxygen mask," the pilot said before referencing the 1978 cult stoner comedy featuring Cheech Martin and Tommy Chong. "It was like 'Cheech and Chong Up in Smoke.'"

Reportedly, Biebs was high as a kite and "baked out of his mind" during the flight. When asked to sign off on a credit card authorization, the "Heartbreaker" singer was so out of it that he didn't know what he was signing for, reported TMZ. 

Some of his pals lit blunt cigars and indulged while onboard the airplane. And smoking was perfectly legal because they were flying private.

Reportedly,  the cost of the flight was more than $60,000. 

And this incident was not the first one where Bieber was reportedly smoking substances. The Daily Mail reported that someone had a large bond outside a car window in Bieber's van last week.

And in late July, the singer was busted for reportedly having marijuana on his tour bus at the U.S-Canada border. Bieber was not on the bus at the time, reported Huffington Post Canada.
